Faith United Sunday School

Sunday School services are held in Centennial Hall and coincide with morning worship service at Faith United. The lessons of the program are designed to  coincide with the Lectionary of the church services.

To offer a full program, a great deal of commitment is needed from members of the congregation. Presently, there are 10 regular teachers . In addition, there are 2 teachers for the nursery, and 1 teacher for music.

On a final note, we wish to give heartfelt thanks to anyone who has contributed in any way to make this past year(2009) a success.

The Plastic Years

They pass so quickly, the day of youth,

And the children change so fast,

And soon they harden in the mold,

And the plastic years are past.

Then shape their lives while they are young,

This be our prayer, our aim,

That every child we meet shall bear,

The imprints of HIS name

United Church Men’s Fellowship

United Church Men’s Fellowship

The United Church Men’s Fellowship is comprised of members from all points on the pastoral charge. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. The first meeting of the month is a business meeting; the second is a dinner meeting.

Throughout each year, the group share their talent of music and song with Faith United as well as Good Shepherd. In addition, they travel to share services with many congregations within the Bonavista Bay and Trinity Bay area.

Always remember, “He who buries his talent is making a grave mistake.”
